"The feelings of alienation, helplessness and lack of self-worth run deep. But "being bored is power" (as The Minutemen said), it's all about turning it around - you at least have this time. You have some choice: sit at home, watch tv, go to work, let your life pass you by, grow old, killing time till you die or fuck it off and reclaim your time/life for yourself - find the courage to try to turn your dreams into reality, get involved with the things that really matter in your life & start creating a real alternative to the bullshit we live through today. There is no vanguard to the revolution sometime in the future in never-never land led by some saviour. It starts here and starts today with me and you inside on a day to day level. Life is not a spectator sport - reclaim it, feel it, breathe it, live it..."
"The message (hope?) behind this comp (and I feel, is the driving force behind the bands on this release and (should be) the whole DIY scene) is that there are ways of creatively fighting against the boredom and the bullshit that saturates our lives and winning (however small those victories are)...
P.S. destroy your idols, only sheep (& lemmings) need leaders"
Sacado por Refusenik Records de Inglaterra en 1995.
