This Machine Kills - On the move EP

"Institutionalized rejection of difference is an absolute necessity in a profit economy which needs outsiders as surplus people. As members of such an economy, we have all been programmed to respond to the human differences between us with fear and loathing and to handle that difference in one of three ways: ignore it, and if that is not possible, copy it, if we think it is dominant, or destroy it if we think it is subordinate. But we have no patterns for relating across our human differences as equals. As a result, those differences have been misnamed and misused in the service of separation and confusion." (Audre Lord, Sister outsider, 1984).

The revenge of John Africa).

"Anger is energy, it's a force. If an act of injustice doesn't provoke anger in me, it could be seen as idifference, passivity. It's injustice that motivates us to do something, to take risks, knowing that if we don't, things will remain the same." (Digna Ochoa).

"I believe in life. I believe in birth. I believe in the sweet of love and in the fire of truth. And I believe that a lost ship steered by tired seasick sailors can still be guided home to port." (Assata Shakur).

Render Useless EP

"My inspiration comes from how I deal with everyday life, my choices and actions of everyday life, to me is politics." (Paul/Render Useless).

"Politics is the way you live your life and what you choose to do with it. This is what you hold in your hands right now. I thought about someone picking up this 7 inch without knowing who we are, without understanding what we believe in and that bothered me. So, I don't know if you will know us any better after reading this but, I hope you'll understad where we're coming from. Thanks." (Paul/Render Useless)

Sacado por Slow To Burn Records de Canada en 1995.

Peace Of Mind.Upset split EP

"Each individual, in his place, is securely confined to a cell from which he is senn from the the front by the supervisor; but the side walls prevent him from coming into contact with his companions. He is senn, but he does not see; he is the object of information, never a subject in communication. The arrangement of his room, opposite the central tower, imposes on him an axial visibility; but the divisions of the ring, those separated calls, imply a lateral invisibility. And this invisibility is a guarantee of order. If the inmates are convicts, there is no danger of a plot, an attempt at collective escape, the planning of new crimes for the future, bad reciprocal influences; if they are patients, there is no danger of contagion; if they are madmen there is no reisk of their commiting violence upon one another; if they are schoolchildren, there is no copying, no noise, no chatter, no waste of time; if they are workers, there are no disorders, no theft, no coalitions, none of the distractions that slow down the rate of work, make it less perfect or cause accidents." (Michel Foucalt, Discipline and punish).

"The concept of panoptic tower is not to be understood as a sovereign power which leads from one central being in power down to those not in control, it is rather to be understood as forms of power which circulate in the social field. Then, power is rather a dynamic of control and lack of control - relations of power are dispersed and fragmented throughout this social field. An understanding of how modern subjects are constructed might open ways for change and contestation. If power is fragmented throughout the social field, so must resistance to this form of power. It is not to be expected to make one form of liberalization from oppressive powers possible. The question rather is if we can enable other knowledges and forms of differences which can break down the cellular spaces we are trapped in. This could be possible by means of communication and by struggling for otherness, for de- and re- construction of social subjects and practices - let it be gender identities, forms of sexuality, definition of friendship and/or relationships, beauty, ways of communication, creativity...whatever..." (Urte from Peace Of Mind).

Sacado por World Upside Down Records, Das Syndikat Records y Frank Booth Inc. en el 2000.

"I cannot speak of freedom when I know of all these fucked up things going on. Even though I personally have quite a few choices, even though I am really privileged because I fulfill certain suppositions that the society I happen to live in values as important for itself. Still I cannot even call myself free, because I feel the borders of the given standards as soon as I try to define my life for myself. I dream of breaking down all these standards. I dream of total freedom. And I try everything I can to gain freedom for myself and every other living being. Without freedom, nothing is of value. There is no real life without freedom" (Jobst from Peace Of Mind).

Spit Acid.Step Into Nowhere split EP

"Tell me what a world is this, where a friend kills a friend, where wars are raging, can't count the numbers on both hands. Tell me, who tries to set the rules for today's strategy, though everybody fights the other in ruthless stupidity, fighting, why fighting when all common sense is missing, is the other side just talking shit or have we forgotten just to listen, fighting, why fighting with no scrap of sense at all, certain of the necessity what started it off no one can recall. Tell me which lack of understanding is responsible for the lies, that justify the death of innocents, cause they were on the wrong side. Tell me what's the use in talking, stop distress from getting bigger, when people who cried out for help still go on and pull the trigger, looks like wounds that been scarred long ago haven't had enough time to heal" (Tell me, Spit Acid).

Seein Red split EP

"Uanble to explain, no patience to wait, just want to fight, to be heard somewhere, heard about what? heard by who? don't try to convince, just kill to be heard" (Deseperate terrorism, Öpstand).

"The real terrorist is imperialism The real terrorist is imperialism The armed resistance Against imperialism Is never terrorism Their struggle is right...RIGHT!!!" (The real terrorist, Seein Red).

"Wake up very early, end up whenever your boss want, one day here, one day there. Flexibility, minimum security. To temp is the modern day slavery" (Temporary slave, Öpstand).

"Fascists marching in the streets again You turn your head and walk away Just like so many people did when Hitler started to pave his way Repeat Repeat Reapeat Reapeat (History...) Haven't you learned anything from the past Or don't you fucking care at all If history repeats itself Remember you are responsible Repeat Repeat Repeat Repeat!" (Repeat, Seein Red).

Active Minds - Recipe for disaster EP

"They keep on building more roads to nowhere - accomodating machines, not humankind. Nature laid to waste in the name of progress. It's not too late to change our mind... A concrete nightmare will be the future of the monstro-cities that are planned. Clean air to breathe could soon be scarce if people do not take a stand." (Roads to nowhere).

"In their search for lots of money bio-tech firms try to persuade us that natural food is flawed and that science is here to save us by mutating living organisms and then patenting their "inventions", and then trying to hide their motives with talk of charitable intentions. They'll say we need to do this so that we can feed the world, but in reality it means our food supply will be corporately controlled, and whilst transnational corporations extend their monopolies half the world will still be dying of hunger and disease." (Recipe for disaster).

Ex-Ignota - Lazarus is back to report sunny skies in heaven EP

"Driving puts wheels in motion. Mind, flayed by the spokes, and here I am, Mexico City, three a.m.This is the way it is. The way we are. The fifteen minutes to die for. Mom and Dad, soleil and the lasers. Fifteen minutes to try for. Tried to reach out, gut lumped with the odd ones and the unfortunates, the coal and the second-hand bricks. The evil Ken Evil incident. Maybe they are crazing for trying. Maybe I am too. As. Are. Will. All." (Xenakis vs the Barons).

"Complications. Confusion. Disappointment. Failure. Error. I just want to scream. Everything is getting more and more intrincate, more and more complicated. Everyday ends with a feeling of loss. Another day ends with the sinking feeling that my accomplishments were few, and my brain hurts from the knowledge of impending doom. Fuck. I made another mistake. Game over, you lose. I want more life." (Ebullition insert).

Sacado por Ebullition Records de USA en 1996.

Ivich/E-150 split EP

The boredom and the bullshit compilation EP

"The feelings of alienation, helplessness and lack of self-worth run deep. But "being bored is power" (as The Minutemen said), it's all about turning it around - you at least have this time. You have some choice: sit at home, watch tv, go to work, let your life pass you by, grow old, killing time till you die or fuck it off and reclaim your time/life for yourself - find the courage to try to turn your dreams into reality, get involved with the things that really matter in your life & start creating a real alternative to the bullshit we live through today. There is no vanguard to the revolution sometime in the future in never-never land led by some saviour. It starts here and starts today with me and you inside on a day to day level. Life is not a spectator sport - reclaim it, feel it, breathe it, live it..."

"The message (hope?) behind this comp (and I feel, is the driving force behind the bands on this release and (should be) the whole DIY scene) is that there are ways of creatively fighting against the boredom and the bullshit that saturates our lives and winning (however small those victories are)...

P.S. destroy your idols, only sheep (& lemmings) need leaders"
